The Schoolhouse (Beard Family Daycare)

Description

Learning environment that bases philosophy on nurturing childrens' social-emotional competence through observing play, relationships with friend, and ability to self-regulate while also being able to communicate emotions without judgement. Program follows the Reggio Emilia philosophy by acknowledging that children learn in different languages and learn best when engaged in self-guided experiential learning in relationship-driven environments. Center is an open space that allows children to choose the equipment to work with each day. Children participate in morning and afternoon circle time, art, gardening, yoga, and music.
