Little Bee Preschool (Presidio)

Description

Mandarin-immersion preschool and daycare program where children develop skills in critical thinking and problem solving in preparation for kindergarten. Children are encouraged to make discoveries and develop critical thinking and problem solving skills through curiosity and experimentation while free play and personal discoveries drive engagement with direct curriculum through help from team of educators. Program offers an inclusive curriculum, local community presence, nature outings, field trips, enrichment classes, special educational visitors, and cultural heritage of school community. Blend of Reggio-Emilia and Montessori principles allows program to individualize the curriculum to match needs of current students. Two classrooms are taught via Mandarin-immersion and one class is taught in English.
