Teaching philosophy seeks to connect children to each other and the natural world, supporting social development, confidence, and healthy learning habits. Age-appropriate learning takes the form of play, whether it's teacher-guided or independent. Activities may include tactile sensory play in sand, water, or even beans, gross or fine motor skill training through drawing or writing, dramatic play, and arts and crafts. The overarching curriculum is intended to slowly prepare children to enter the academic world by introducing important learning materials through play, and by supporting emotional, social, and physical development.
