Discovery Montessori Academy (Allen)

Description

Child care center providing Montessori care and education to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. Sensory skills, free play, music, stories and sign language make up the foundation of the infant and toddler programs. Montessori method is used in all levels and includes meeting each child at an individual developmental level. Independence and self-awareness are key elements of program and as child progresses, emphasis is placed on manners, respect and developing a strong work ethic. Science, math, reading, and the arts are included in the pre-kindergarten rooms to ensure each student is well prepared for elementary school in the future. Spanish and Chinese lessons are provided.
