CWO is a small, inclusive, and diverse full-day Reggio Emilia toddler and preschool program near Lake Merritt. We believe that young children need and deserve inspiring adult role models capable of igniting, nurturing, and sustaining their innate passion for learning and thoughtfully and intentionally developing their limitless potential. We are a certified early childhood teacher mentoring site widely recognized for providing early childhood education and care of the highest quality through emergent, child-directed play and language-rich art, STEM, maker, and inquiry-driven project work.
