Description

Head start, preschool, and kindergarten programs that provide an emphasis on social-emotional learning as well as academics. Children participate in outdoor and indoor play. Educational learning centers are used to introduce children to a variety of learning topics. The centers are created so children are free to independently and creatively learn from a variety of developmentally appropriate materials. Outdoor free play, storytime, handwriting, and morning meetings are experiences available to children on a daily basis. Independent lesson plans are prepared based on the needs of each child while also meeting the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards and Pennsylvania Core Standards.
