Ames Child Care Center

Description

Play-based, non-profit childcare center serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children. Ten classrooms and four outdoor play areas are divided by age and feature developmentally-appropriate stimuli and materials. Creative thought and problem-solving strategies are encouraged as teachers work with children to build social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Program also includes weekly performances by local artists as well as Spanish and soccer classes. Priority is given to civil servants; however, the program accepts all families when space is available.
